Martgritte's Influence Map

My choices here probably influence my writing, particularly comic strips, more than anything. I grew up as a big comic strip lover and as I was taught more about art I began to love movements such as Surrealism and Pop Art. Seinfeld and Kevin Smith have explored the minutiae of everyday life. Nemi is a wonderful comic strip that isn't always about getting to a punchline but then strips like Garfield do so well. Shows like Doctor Who and Buffy are why I love the sci-fi genre.
